Arriving in Italy

By Air

The city of Asti is located in the northern Italian region of Piemonte. The nearest international Airport is Torino Caselle (87 km), there are daily flights from Amsterdam with KLM. There are also flights departing from Bruxelles. Asti is only one hour driving by car from Turin or half an hour by train from Turin city centre.

Alternatively, guests from outside of Italy can fly to Milan (151 km). Different airlines fly to the three airports (Milano Malpensa, Linate or Bergamo). From Milan it will be a 90 minute drive by car or two hours by train with a change of trains in Turin.

By Train

For those who will not be arriving by plane or car, travelling by train is a lovely alternative. Turin and Milan have a direct train connection with Paris. There are five trains per day in both directions. There is a daily Eurostar connection to Paris from Rotterdam.

By Car

Travelling to Piemonte, Italy by car is a roadtrip that takes you through the Alps. You can either drive through France and take the Frejus or Mont Blanc tunnel which takes you along the beautiful landscape of Piemonte. If you arrive from Switzerland [DEZE NOG AFMAKEN]

Explore the region

If you wish to explore Piemonte and the Monferrato region, we recommend hiring a car. This will give you the freedom to easily discover the region, from its rolling hills to the renowned wine estates.

However, public transport is also a convenient option for reaching cities and smaller towns. Major cities like Turin are well-connected by high-speed trains, and from there you can continue your journey with regional trains to destinations such as Asti, Alessandria, Biella, Cuneo, Vercelli, Novara, and more.
